The Wrightsure Insurance Group have, following many years involvement with
the Transport Industry, recognised that the legislation affecting vehicle
operators is complex and constantly changing. The penalties imposed for
contravention of the law can be extremely severe. the legal costs in defending
a Summons or a Public Enquiry can be considerable. There are many occasions
where, having been completely innocent of all charges or matters of complaint,
operators have been unable to recover any or all of the substantial cost
of legal protection.
Larger organisations can usually afford to maintain their own in-house
legal departments to deal with these matters but unfortunately
most other companies invariably have to seek the services of "Fee Charging Firms" for
their legal protection and advice.
We believe that the concept of the Agreement is unique. By paying
an annual fee per vehicle (subject to a £400 minimum premium
plus V.A.T) operators are effectively retaining the services
of solicitors as their legal advisers
for a period of 12 months.
